Heinz I have spoken with a dealer today who says he has sold about 6 of the P4SS and they also have a demo with 8,000 miles .None of the cars have experienced the problem you have and to his knowledge none have had an ECU up grade.??

It is quite normal for ball type clutch release thrust races to be slightly pushed against the clutch tangs with the clutch fully engaged, thus the bearing rotates with the clutch but under very little load. If there is slight clearance then the ends

problem solved. the mechanic had the car for about an hour or so, readjusted the belt/rear wheel alignment so the belt now sits in the middle of the gear and not rubbing against the edge. all is well in the universe. now just have to deal with the
