Description
At the risk of seeming a tad repetative about this swmbo doing a sterling job applying bitumen to the new ply roof thumbs . drive just 8 days away now.

Need to do the sides next, then you'll have a good 'un :-) Isn't it Bitumening?

Great when you are finished how about nipping up North and helping me out, paint the outside of the house and mix the concrete for me then barrow it in . Or just stand with a giant brolly over the house for a few days so I can complete the job that started back in April . By the way that blue sky is it real I only see grey ones up here .

4/4SF : My good lady HATES standing around, so when I suggested the roof needed some black stuff, she was up the ladder before I could mention Elfin Safety ;

Moss & JTL : a RARE blue sky in these parts shades, hence the dash to do the roof (to be finished tomorrow). Oh and thanks, reminded me about getting some ready mixed to even off the driveway thumbs

Finally, Cicerone : LOL ! No swmbo got a nice meal at the Rodney Stoke Inn (anyone up for a Noggin eat there someday??) and will be getting similar tomorrow (Sat), AFTER one very long/hard/hot days work.

I fear another post will find its way onto TM, but only once all has been done and "Henry" has been installed (as he has been christened by swmbo).

Oops forgot Mike : Hi Mike. Yep, having rebuild a collapsed wall at the "rear" (right hand side of the photo, inside the garage you can probably spot the dry wall stones etc), have got rid of all rotten OSB from garage wall, soaked everything in preservative (incl me ooo) and now ready to put top layer on roof, install new OSB (cut to size), remove old T&G exterior, replace with new, paint same in Sports Green love , level off driveway and get rid off the rubbish.
All just for a car. Of course, it's not any old car ! grin2

Your old garage is a bit like my old long brush, it's had 3 new handles and 4 new heads but I've had it nearly 30 years!!
Roll on summer.
