I was a student in Aberystswyth for three years, so I know those roads quite well. Like Nigel, I've cycled a few of them but at the time I couldn't afford a car so had a motor bike instead.
I used to use it for trips home some weekends.

I thoroughly recommend Aberysytwyth- LLangurig- Rhayader- Builth Wells- Brecon on a K1000 Kawasaki!!
