The kind of activity at a corporate event that could end up with Prescott Hill Climb being closed. We have enough problems with neighbours objecting to any activity.
I was at Cattle Grid - past the end of the spectator area, right at the end of the hill, and that action sounded more like a plane about to land on my head, than a warm up. I could have done with ear plugs hundreds of yards (and the brow of a hill) away...

I agree with your point completely Graham. However call me irresponsible, even though I missed the actual run, but I love the photo. The driver looks almost beatific in his enjoyment. surrender

It gets my vote... camera

What do you mean Graham?... are you worried about the fire hazard? I can understand your concern as surely the rear of that 3-wheeler is alight! wink

more concerning was how rude the driver was to the officials at Prescott when they asked him not to repeat the start- (the neighbours at the top of the hill had complained). As a regular competitor at Prescott I don't want to see it closed because of noise issues!

Hehe,
John has beaten me to it! That's the reason Simon - when he lit up that rear tyre, I thought there was an aircraft about to land on me up at Cattle Grid. Yes the photo looks great - but it doesn't convey the noise.
I'm surpirised he could race that anywhere in this country as so many places have such strict noise regs now.

Cheers,
