Hehe,
I should be out in it Brian, but keeping quiet for the next week or so... Might have a bit of a trek out tomorrow, depends on others. Would give me a chance to get some other photos...

Sister is believed to be making progress. Specialist wants to attempt to reconnect some internal pipework, but she needs to be 3 clear weeks off the chemo before that can happen, so she was given an appointment for a two week gap. Left hand / right hand syndrome - as always. I have no news since last weekend when I took a trek up to Peterlee in the 90 and stopped in Greenfield on the way home. I will probably have to nudge for more info in a week or so - she was supposed to see the anaesthetist Monday just gone... Not sure whether the last scan showed any further improvement.
It's a waiting game!

Cheers,

Graham, the HogMog membership is always open to Hog'n'Mog owners woohoo

With the price of Boxsters, perhaps sir could be persuaded to change from Bavaria to Stuttgart?

Hehe,
We have - 2001 Y Boxster S.
Boring though: same colour scheme as the MX-5 and the Z3 - black exterior, grey interior rofl. However, not a boring car to drive. Last time I drove anything like it, I was testing a Lotus Europa TC (in JPS black) on an M-suffix, back in '81 or so.

Madame thinks it's much nicer than the Z3 (so a thumbs from there) with greater space in the cabin (width and footwell). The increased boot space will be advantageous when we go away too (I'll be able to squeeze in an extra camera bag when she's not looking! laugh2).
I have a couple of photos (but again from dealer's web site). Must look and see how much he's going to put the Z3 up for...
Did roughtly 100 miles on Saturday, approx 60 miles to get it home, further 40+ driving Madame around the countryside. Now waiting for a stomach bug sick2 to go so I can get back out in it...

Cheers,

Congrats smile never driven an 'S' just a regular boxster and thought it was lovely to drive. Still fancy a Boxter S every time I see one at decent money innocent

Congratulations Graham! wine

I had the pleasure of doing a driver improvement day (obviously didn't learn much grin2 ) with Bernard Aubrey in both a standard Boxster and later in the day an S. Both models were very impressive on the limit and I can't commend them enough.

Won't be selling it yet Andy - you'll have to wait a bit! grin2

Looking forward to getting some decent trips in - but still perusing the handbook at present!

Cheers,

When you get a minute, G, can you take a tape measure across the rear axle - outer sidewall to outer sidewall. My Golf is 66" and I'm curious to know what the Boxter is.
No rush!

On the wider 18" rims with 235/35 tyres, just shy of 70" Dave... No wonder it looks like it's got a large a55 laugh2

Cheers,
