This is a graphic computer drawing that modifies a classic Morgan 4-seater.
If a photo probably is the conclusive act of creation for a photographer, for me it always is the initial stage of a creative work.
Cheers, Claudio

Hi, Rubymorgan
By all your comments I could notice that Morris and Mini Tavellers,.."all framed in beautiful timber"..as you said, are in the heart of most motor-people, especially English motor-people. So, why not a very traditional English sport car, as the Morgan 4-seater, in the fascinating "Traveller-Looking"? And, by the way, why not a long fibreglass (station-wagon looking) hard-top for winter season? Decisions decisions...I agree, life is so complicated these days...
Regards,
Claudio Hi Claudio with all this enthusiasm for Woodie Morgan's surfacing, I think its time for Charles Morgan to be enlightened as to our wishes. This may be a niche market for his cars and this may very well be the next niche for the Mighty Morgan? My Morgan has all sorts of niches, crevices and secret hiding places, a bit like my old series one landie. The landie has an 80 inch wheel base and I think so does the Morgan. Now a thought just occurred to me...... how about fitting the Morgan body to the... Peter

You may not have seen it Peter, but one of the All Wheel Drive Club competition guys put a TR7 body on a shortened Range Rover chassis back in the 80s. Competed in off road speed events (and some rallies) all over the country. I think the TR7 bit eventually rotted out...
Cheers,

Nothing new : see Thoroughbred and Classic cars -June 2010-p.41- where is pictured an old Morgan with an external timber framing ( in the manner of the Morris Minor Trav.)

Hi, Retrofuturist I received the photo by your e.mail, and I thank you for the courtesy. The "woody" Morgan in the photo is a model of the past I didn't know, probably produced not for long time and never seen among the Morgan history's photos on MMC or MSCC official sites. That said, the main purpose of my project is to have a new Morgan to utilize everyday in the year, 4-seater for more space, open car (but less windy) for warm seasons, and with the possibility of a hard-top for cold seasons. The traveller-looking, in my opinion, is an intriguing way to present the product, but it isn't the main purpose to reach. Cheers, Claudio

Hi, I agree : nice project. The traveller-looking is a "plus". In my opinion,it could also be very interesting on the Aero basis. Best regards Philippe
