Not me thats when you were on the VIP Laps with junior in charge on the camera. He said that I was going so fast he couldn't catch any pictures of me.

I'd done some research on photographing through fences and if you use a lens with a long focal length and get the right position the fence should disappear like magic.

Unfortunately despite briefing Tom for the VIP laps he forgot all the instruction I'd given him. I think it was as a result of the late nights with Boshly and Simon leading him astray.

He's currently writing up his work experience diary, should make an interesting read.

I try to use a slow shutter speed to blur out the fence.

I had a little success with some night time shoots at Arnage, although I think the shutter speed was just to slow.

As i am currently writing an article for the TVMOG newsletter I am just revisiting the trip. The weekend seemed to have shot by. It takes 2 years to plan, and already July seems a long time ago now. And yes, I expect to be at the 2012 Le Classic.

The racing appeared tame except at Arnage corner, so I would like to know what everyone did during their times at Le Classic.
