Description
Went for the papers and milk this morning, had a wee detour.

Honestly guys, two eyes just aren’t enough, every view in every direction is spectacular, the best roads I’ve ever been on.

Get yourself there now, it’s the best time of year, nae midgies and nae caravans!

Okay, perhaps a bit too slippery for some and to even call Applecross pass, single track, is exaggerating a little (I’ve left some Rosso Corsa on the road, scuffed the chin going too fast).
Watch out for those behorned creatures as well, there are a few and they’re quite frisky, they could leave a nasty dent.

Oh, forgot to say, the railway viaduct is at Culloden, ten miles east of Inverness.

I was going to ask about that - didn't recognise it.

A wee detour you say? Sounds a little more than that smile
I have to do Bealach na Baa (sp?) again (even if not in a Morgan).

I’m hopeless with place names, I’ve got to check the map when I get home to know where I’ve been, I may or may not, have been to the place you mention.

I generally just tear around in the direction of the bluest skies until it’s time to turn around and head for home. I don’t even like stopping unless I can see far behind, that way, if I can smell a caravan or Motorhome, I can jump back in and zoom off before they catch up.

An unusual snag with the Ferrari, if it’s a two lane road and I’m catching someone up quickly, more than once, I’ve noticed the car in front veer across the road. Either they’re self righteous sorts who think only their speed is safe, or hopefully, they’re just too busy looking in the mirrors. Weird and scary when it happens though.

Going by some of the other threads, I take it we at Talk Morgan are self moderating. Looking at the current list of subjects in the photo section, I really do think I should ban myself from posting any more pictures, it’s getting out of hand.

Funny how the fried eggs thread is still the most popular!

I recognise the road in image no.7. Definitely best driven from east to west. There's a video here.

It was a great day indeed Richard, I could unite happily do it again today....but work beckons.

Well spotted Ken, nice video, a bit warmer on the day you were there, I’ll be back again next summer for certain and I’ll take the Morgan next time.
