Yellow lights 7
Image Details

Description
After seeing the yellow headlights on the plus eight at Geneva, I had a go at doing it to my 7.

Yellow tinted film from a craft shop, wetted and stretched on, heat from the lights made it stick.

That’s a well named “super 7 sprint”, 1700cc crossflow with twin 40 Webers, forged pistons and ported head. The live axle and four speed box are sneered at by track heros with the latest versions, but they’re missing the point.
It’s another car I’ll probably never sell, the smells, the sounds, the intense thrill are all unique to cars of that era and type.

Doesn't that lovely 7 look tiny in the pic?

Here’s another version of the same picture, the 7 is a little smaller than the 4/4, but mostly it’s the perspective of the iPhone lens.

I wonder also - is there a good all weather yellow film available?

Pop into any sign maker and they will be able to supply a transparent yellow vinyl film

Most sign companies will do Vehicle wraps and will fit it as well

Ok. So we like yellow headlamps and spotlamps, but we dont like orange indicators?

Have I got this right?
