260bhp is amazing.

I remember my first RS1600 with its 110bhp BDA engine, which in full race spec got to 250bhp.

How times and technology have changed.

Someone on here said it wouldn't fit , looks like it does !
Plenty of power and a lightweight lump and fuel efficiency , perfect , just add sports exhaust ?

Loving this, looking forward to further updates, but Point of Order, Mr Chairman - surely it's Duratec to Ecoboost? Ecotec is the Vauxhall/Opel engine like wot I've got in my car.

It certainly fits on a pallet behind a Mog grin2

Really looking forward to more photos as the project progresses

Surely it should be Duratec to EcoBoost somestick

Good luck with the swap. Should make for an interesting drive! Full torque at a little over 2,000 rpm should make you the drift king.

It's not a engine swap it is an adventure 👍
I will follow it with the highest interest, especially the instrument part... Swapping instruments or making an interface from the original loom to the new ecu ?
I was quite thinking on the same but was not sure enough to start this in real...
Master I am your padawan 😍
