Nice set of photos Ewan. Your landscape appears to have turned a trifle pale!

It was a lovely walk, the snow was deep, crisp and dry. There’s a half acre white horse formed of white quartz stones on one side of this hill and a stag further round. No pictures of them on this visit, they were nowhere to be seen. The ruin is actually a listed building: https://canmore.org.uk/site/111253/mormond-hill-hunters-lodge

Do you know what's been carved onto the stone between the two top windows, if anything?

Do you know what's been carved onto the stone between the two top windows, if anything? You can only just make it out, at first I thought it was inscribed, “ for sale/ ZOOPLA” , but no, it is this. 'In This/Hunter's Lodge/Rob. GIBB/Commands/MDCLXXIX‘ https://i.rcahms.gov.uk/canmore/l/SC01543438.jpgThanks everyone for the compliments, I enjoy looking back on my days out and it’s a pleasure to share.

Thanks Ewn. I looked at the pictures there but couldn't make anything out.
