Took a pic of exactly the same Aston bar the no. plate a few years back parked on a side street in a local town near us , totally stunning , hens teeth really except at shows .

A good friend had one of these fully restored before prices went barmy.

I had a drive and it didn't meet my expectationa at all.

I love the shape but wouldn't want one.

I drove a DB4 at Goodwood.
Compared to my Land Rovers (and Morgans) over the years I would happily have loaded it with luggage and driven to the Highlands in a day - but they wouldn't let me take it away. frown

Dave , if its one thing I've learn't about classic cars its that they look stunning but don't often live up to expectations and can be expensive to keep running and keep the rust at bay !!!
