Yellow lights 7

Description
After seeing the yellow headlights on the plus eight at Geneva, I had a go at doing it to my 7.

Yellow tinted film from a craft shop, wetted and stretched on, heat from the lights made it stick.

That’s certainly the case with the suspension, of the few components there are, they’re all slender and only as strong as needed, it’s amazing how robustly it does it’s job.

Should really be out in the garage, but I’m too comfy relaxing with my coffee having a lazy Sunday.

some old photographs of the 7 being used as a tourer, a Morgan does the job better, but it can be done.

This is when the trackday didn’t end well, the caterham 3 wheeler is rubbish!

So you have lights to see at night........then you tint them to reduce the light output confused2

Form over function.....nah! wink

I guess you could have dummy ones, but come MOT time innocent

Absolutely, form and fashion are the reasons we don’t all buy the adequately functional Nissan Micra laugh2

You needn’t worry for my safety though, for one, I don’t like the dark, and secondly, the yellow film eventually fell off by itself!

Some changes I’ve made which are very much functional;

New harnesses, wing mirrors, gear gaiter, and removal of stinky carpets for bare aluminium look.

This time, the most frivolous of modifications. Since boyracerhood, I’ve wanted to paint the letters on my tyres, the earlier picture was just the inside of one wheel just to try it, now the whole hog...
