Some little planes.

A couple of friends have aircraft, I tagged along to a fly in barbecue at Insch in Aberdeenshire, a grass airstrip in the shadow of Benachie.

Aeroplanes are fascinating to look at, that bi-plane especially.

I agree Ewn…
there will be a Morgan meet at a private airfield near me Breighton near York Sat 20th July : Real Aeroplane Company and there will be a number of Buckler planes to view and hopefully a mini air display.

Hope I can attend and enjoy..and then The Peter Morgan Challenge at Donington on Sunday 21st July.

Thanks for the post Ewn - great planes and great airstrip. On our Flying Scotsmen tour two year ago my co and I had planned to land at Insch but it was flooded and closed so we went in to Inverness and then drove down that way. Must get back there. In one pic, No. 6, there's a lovely red Kitfox taildragger. I'm flying mine to Sywell for the LAA rally at the end of August. Hmmm not so far to Scotland from there... thinking
