FolkMog in Wales

Our thanks to Valerie for the great organisation.
We had a fun if often showery week. I can confirm that speed stops rain getting in the car.
Over 1000 miles driven in all on all sorts of roads around Newtown & Snowdonia.

Nice shots there John, that stag shot is lovely and a real home from home with the GW tank engine.

Yes my Dad used to drive them when based in Newton Abbott. This one was converted to fuel oil & back again to coal.

That was to give us hope. The one shower in Wales seemed to follow us around along with it's friend called force 6 wind.
Very atmospheric.

Went on the same trip and can confirm that there was some rain ! But it was great fun and the scenery in mid Wales is amazing and no leaks thanks to DaveW's advice regarding 3mm tube for the roof seal !
