Nice pictures again, but Amalfi Coast is not a typical "road less travelled"

I am pleased you liked the old pics. The Amalfi pic was taken not long after dawn, having got out of bed early to avoid the usual traffic and tour busses, at that time in the morning there were.... less traveling on it.. blush

I like your point of view!

I remember a trip there in April some years ago. 10°C on a motorbike and not many others on the road.either.

We did it last year after driving it first in 1982. Even early in the day the traffic was bad and made worse by what seemed like miles & miles of parked cars snaking between the villages.
The views were nice but I am not sure I would bother again.

My Austrian fellow Morganeer, I am also pleased you find interest in my point of view. Also in years gone by I have used my m/cycle in temps well below 10Deg C.. And perhaps unsurprisingly I even have pics I took using the film camera balanced on a rock using the timer.. to capture what is now known as a "selfie".. No one else was daft enough to accompany me on that little adventure... I would try to post a couple of pics in this section though the heading is Morgan related images.. Perhaps I will post a couple in the other section if the Orkney interest diminishes, and there is any interest...?

JohnV6, It may just be an old man thing but the number of cars on the road everywhere seems to have grown exponentially, and like you I doubt I would make that trip again. My good lady wife thought it a bit of a let down as in the Morgan she could not see over the barriers or walls in many places... Perhaps doing it on a BUSS one might see more... ? (-: Seems the NC 500 or part thereof might be more rewarding for both driver and passenger, If they can see through the rain and put up with the occasional gale.. (-:

Boab the choo, choo, seems you will have a job for life if you wish to correct my spelling punctuation or prose.... laugh2

Did anyone find the Mog behind the railings in the first pic...? There was a prize.. Too late to claim it now.. innocent

A photo with poor resolution can easily hide a Mog and prevent you from awarding a prize. innocent
