More Caramulo 2019

There were one or two quite nice cars to be seen going up the hill at Caramulo this year...

Mario and Leo in the line up ready for the hillclimb;

The view ahead in the line up;
[Linked Image]

Real exotica; all in the one shot, an MG, a Riley, an Alfa Romeo, a Jag, a bit of a Volvo and something from Italy too;
[Linked Image]

Another group of nice little cars;
[Linked Image]

TR3;

This man has very good taste in toys...and it appears that he plays with them too;
[Linked Image]

Apparently this has only a 2 litre engine...presumably as an economy measure? laugh
[Linked Image]

This one didn't actually go up the hill but did look and sound lovely so it can be forgiven a little;

Back to the blue Italian one;

More proper exotica, and that little red Ferrari again;

You all will forgive me for thinking that the best picture in this gallery is the one of a certain Green Plus 4 grin2

Btw, I wonder if the original Wild Mogs ( Steve T, Steve H, Wire "The Babe Magnet" Wheel and my best co-pilot ever Jays) do recognize the oldgit cunningly trying to know what was it that made me so fast laugh2

We've all just just been thinking, Mario. There is little substitute for ground chili in the underwear I'm sure..!!

Such wonderful photo's and so many fantastic memories evoked looking at Calum's photo's. It really is a jewel of an event, in such a lovely part of the world. Jays is currently down at Goodwood for the Revival, Steve T is in Lithuania and Ian is signing autographs still but we all still talk about Caramulo.

Marvellous.

Great memories indeed! thumbs

Just so you know, after that year (and includng it) I always submit my entry with the team name "Wild Mogs Racing Team". Funny thing is that this year they (the event) put Calum's entry under that same team name.

He was #131 and I was "133 and so it was funny being in the pre-grid (or pre-grill grin2 ) and to hear the speaker say something like "Annnd noowwwww, one of the "WILD MOGS RACING TEAM" competitors, Calum Fraser in the fantastic Threee Whelleeeeer !!!! " laugh2

So you see, you don't forget Caramulo and Caramulo doesn't forget you cheers

Fantastic.. and we still plan to be back to enjoy some of your fine hospitality Mario, although 'Babe Magnet' Ian is the only one in the same car.. and we need to tease Jays away from his pots and pans.. and if Callum is to go under the WM name he simply has to undergo the rites of initiation. How will he be able to roll up one trouser leg in a kilt??
