People of Caramulo

Another few photos, this time of some of the people.

Duarte and victim guest passenger about to go up the hill.

Leo and friends at the top of the hill

Mario, Leo and Duarte

Orlando (I think) the driver of a two stroke Saab

Security was tight with all the high value machinery about (there was a real Mini Moke there!)

Great photo's, Calum..

I wonder if this gent was there again..? I think his name was George, so we instantly named his wife Mildred, but he was in his 80's and the pair of them lived on the Mediterranean coast. He was a committed petrol head, and very serious about competing, so much so that they'd driven up from the coast in his Volvo PV144. He was at that stage in his life where things were getting hard for him, but they were a stoic pair and bickered like mad..

Thanks, chum..
