A trip to Kent

Our thanks to Buy British & Lady buy British for a great week away in Tenterden.
There was a mixed bag of cars with Morgans, Porsches, an Austin Healey & a Humber.
The weather was great & we all had a lot of fun.
another 800 miles of smiles

You were privileged indeed to park in front of The Gannet! Did you make it to The Copper Rivet distillery just along from the dockyard entrance?

I dodged the Rivet but did look at the Nelson brewery. There was so much to see we will need to go back.
We did tour the submarine HMS Ocelot & the Ropery. I really enjoyed the Smithy with all those model ships & the shed full of mixed vessels, army vehicles & RNLI boats.

I hope you got Steve (“but you call me Mister Steve”) doing the Ropery tour. A real character. He LOVES visiting Morgans (“wooden cars” as he calls them).
