Production car Trial

Attended a Production Car Trial (PCT) today... Wet and windy at first but dried out for the afternoon session, fortunately as it is held in a rather exposed situation.. Only one Morgan competing..

I bet the big and slim prewar tires on the Riley work much better in this conditions than the modern tires on this Morgan.

Correct Jens, the Morgan struggled for the reason you suggest, though one +8 owner who visits this forum on occasion, did very well when he entered his Morgan in times past, not just with the benefit of the LSD but a few appropriately positioned window sash weights aided traction somewhat. smile

There was also an Austin Seven competing which did very well up against the 70`s MG midgets and a couple of Mazda MX5. A good day out, as opposed to sitting watching TV .. thumbs
