Black or Silver?

Which do you prefer for a Roadster - classic Sport Black with Mulberry trim and alloys or the more pared back, sporty silver with black alloys. I'm leaning towards the silver - my last car was black and it looked great but was a nightmare to keep clean. I think the pared back silver with black alloys, no wing treads or wing mounted side lights still looks traditional but with a slightly modern twist - more of a handsome brute rather than pretty ! However, I would personally opt for the traditional stud hood over the Easy Up.

I had a ble wings 7 silver body two tone +4. I really liked that. It had stainless wires. I would go silver as the black is a pig to keep clean. My 4/4 was black. Black is also a dangerous colour as drivers easily miss seeing the car.

Ahem ! avatar says it all, personally I would NEVER have a dark Mog again, after you hear the crunch and the other driver just says "sorry mate, never saw you in that little dark coloured old car"

Yes Silver. Black ones are rather special and must be kept for the select few.

I love a black car, but I'd never have another one. They look fantastic for the 15 minutes after you clean them, before they get dusty. A silver one on the other hand looks quite clean even when filthy. The silver roadster with black wheels looks fab to me.

I must agree! Along with the fact Black is hard to see. Go for the Silver.

Yes Silver for me, the black will be difficult to live with and the visibility is a very real issue and as Giles said the black wheels look perfect with it .

Thanks everyone. I like both but certainly think the silver will be easier to keep clean.
