Thought to post a few more pics from my visit to the LM Classic last year in the hope that there might be some interest in them.. I note from the last set of pics I posted from LM, that I think it was Richard commented that he had enjoyed seeing many of the cars perhaps at Goodwood or elsewhere, whereas for me living in Northern Britain,
it was indeed a rare event to be amongst so many interesting machines, many of which up till attending the Classic, I had only ever seen pictures of.
I suspect most Morganeers are not much into in-car entertainment though if there had been a competition so related at the Classic, the winner would most certainly have been Cadillac ....?
I have ever admitted to being a bit of a CARsonova, showing interest in the lines sights and sounds and even smells of all sorts of classics from vintage through to the more modern classics, my eye ever wandering...(-: Variety is the spice of life they say..? In that regard while it is interesting to see the range of models and modifications that Morganeers apply to their Morgans, and the variation in trim and colours, though for me, a line of Morgans at an event does not quite have the same appeal to me as the variety of interesting machinery to be found when part of a group attending one of the multi-car enthusiast gatherings such as when attending the Classic LM.
I was fortunate enough to be invited to join in with such a group, an experience I also took part in back in 2002 in my Morgan, though this time in my good lady`s 4x4...though it had the benefit of much needed air-con, so not too many complaints from me..Staying in a château was never imagined as a possibility in my lifetime when I was a kid, let alone surrounded by such a wide variety of wonderful machinery...!!! Just thought to share a bit of it in pics with my fellow petrol heads..
