A grand day out

The Great Escape Gang (or the SOGS (Stupid Old Gits) as swmbo calls us) had a lovely day out in Suffolk. Most of us meeting just off the A14 & going via Lavenham for an ice cream and onto Clare for lunch at the Swan. In Clare Richard Wood joined us as did two Cranmog folk who live in Clare.
The rule of 6 meant we had a shouted conversation across to 2 tables over lunch.

After a nice bumble around the country park in Clare to shake down the food we headed home.

Hawki & I saw 3 lone mogs on the way home , so 9 mogs in one day. A blue one , a red on & a two tone green one.

Two Brooklands plus 2 others Mogs really do stop traffic and on several occasions we were waved through at junctions etc.

Roll on next weeks adventure.

PS no idea why the house in Laveham is at 90deg it was correct on the pc.

Thanks for the pictures John it looks like you boys had a lovely trip out.

I know MMC manufactured a Brooklands M3W, but did they ever make a Brooklands +4?

As far as I know only 3 wheelers & Roadsters. The launch talked of matt green but all the cars I have seen are gloss.

Thanks.
I love the Brooklands Roadsters and was tempted when Steve put his on the market.
The trouble is that I know I would end up going backwards into the foliage, with that amount of power.
