The Great Escape Gang does Flixton
Today 6 of us started with a pub lunch followed by a visit to The Norfolk & Suffolk aircraft Museum . Madmax organised this great day out.

That looks a great day out John, thanks for sharing the pictures the Lightning is a very impressive aircraft we used to go to Coltishall and watch 74 squadron Tigers take off and land, the sound was amazing of those twin Avon's in reheat no wonder my hearings shot it was worth it though.

Yes. Let's design a plane with two jets like an up and over shotgun and stick a pilot on top. I bet the buzz on full afterburner was awesome. Concorde was I guess a small idea of that.

That's a good comparison they always said that Concorde handled like a fighter and probably kicked you in the back like a Lightning.
Walking under Concorde I'm always in awe at the sheer size of those Olympus engines they are like a small house.

Excellent. Another museum to visit added to the list! Looked quite crowded (display wise) in there.
