Fancy dress wheels

I can’t find my grease gun so I’ve come in for some breakfast in the hope it’ll magically reappear.

Opinions please lads and lassies, I’ve purchased those spoked wheels from our fellow member to whom I’m very grateful, what colour do you think would look best?
It’s not that I don’t like my own wheels, just that I’ve always liked painted wires too, these popped up, they’re from1969 so the same age as me and they’re the right size.

Obviously, they’re not like new, but they’re far better than expected, the intention was to paint them Saxe blue, gloss black or silver, two seconds on the car and I think I like them the colour they are.

Were the Capara calipers OEM when you got your car ? I have the same on my 2009 Roadster (just visible in the pic), the car has done 14K miles but I can't tell if they are original or retro-fitted.[Linked Image]

The Caparos were standard on that year of Roadster Peter. Watch out for a wear ridge on the outside edge of the pads. They don't quite fit right!

I would say they suit the car

Craig, you’re a nutter, I’m surprised you’ve any fingers left, you must have worn them down to stubs!

Here’s some moody evening shots, gave it a spin round the block, they don’t wobble and they didn’t fall off so that’s good.

Thanks, I'll keep a close watch for them misbehaving.
