FolkMog 25th anniversary bash at Hunstanton

Have just got back from a weekend in Hunstanton across the border in Norfolk to celebrate FolkMogs 25th anniversary. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed it immensely.

After taking the worlds longest narrow gauge railway from Wells next to the Sea to Walshingham & back Richard V6 took us to a car park that floods at high tide for a walk to the dunes and the sea at Burnham Overy Staithe.It is the first time I have worried about the tide washing my car away, makes a change from how long is left on what you paid for.

The RNLI even put on an open today on the Sunday just for us. Buybritish & Ali who organised the weekend did a great job.

Unusual configuration with tenders and driving wheels front and rear and boiler in the middle. Steam equivalent of four wheel drive I suppose. Also seen in the hotel car park this relatively rare Porsche 718 Spyder which looks better from the rear I thought.
