Helmingham Hall Car Show 7.8.22

Some shots from a very busy event. There was a joint AngleMog FolkMog presence with 8 AngleMoggers in attendnace.
The home made Jag special is not a one off theguy also built a V12 motorbike.
It was good to see some of the repiared CX cars present.

He was very quiet and unassuming. He has no formal metal bashing training but did it all himself. This winter he will make an ali hard top.

That Jag is splendid. Cars like that can look dreadful sometimes and this one looks lovely.

Agreed, a lot of hours in the manshed for that, but perhaps best not to declare the Sherpa truck chassis innocent

True. The Jag engine came with ECU etc which he binned. He drilled & threaded both camshafts & fitted distributors and of course carbs.

Having a Sherpa chassis is good news - chances are he has king pins fitted grin2

That was why the Independent local garage I use for Morgan MOT and brake fluid changes also did the king pin change as the LDV trucks have similar and they have a lot of Rover V8 experience.
Total enthusiasts with sensible labour costs and close.
