I spent a few happy hours rummaging around the factory today. After announcing at reception that I'd come to look at my 3.7 Roadster & being told that they were not yet in production, I tried to explain how unhappy I would be if that was so, after being told that mine was in production & driving across the country to see it... It seems that the situation is as follows (I hope I got this right): As is known, the organisation setting up the new engine let Morgan down very badly, but most of the testing is now complete. The last test was supposed to be completed today, but the test house c**ked up the test procedure, so it must be re-done. As soon as that is complete, the car can be registered with the authorities & thay can start selling them! So far, 4 (or it may be 5 ) cars have been built, 2 prototypes & 2 (or 3) customer cars. Because of the cramped conditions, to say nothing of the cost of un-sellable stock lying around, no more are being built until they can be sold. The dash has been re-designed after comments made at Geneva. I've seen a picture & I don't think it's too bad. The centre section is the same as the picture posted by numog but the section in front of the driver has been made much more presentable (I think). The buttons operate the functions that the buttons along the lower part of the centre section of the old dash used to do ( hazards, fogs etc). Hopefully, production proper can start in the month or so... Ian

The sump clearance looks fantastic. That's a major result if that's production spec.
So not all doom & gloom. Spot on Dave!! No more nasty moments hopefully!

I can't see that changing at this stage.

Excellent update from the factory. Those engines look massive, I wonder what they sound like. The out bay looks crammed, all this good weather and those beautiful cars are stuck in there. It's all those blinking Three Wheelers cluttering up the place! It's interesting seeing that Sport sitting in there......the last couple of times I've been to the factory in recent weeks, there's been a number of Sports being built or waiting for collection, Plus 4s as well as 4/4s. With the option now with bespoke builds, of the traditional spare, some buyers are still attracted to the Sport look
