Description
Had to go to the factory today to pick up a new handbrake cable so of course thought I might as well have a trip round.....there's always something new to see and I like building up my collection of reference photos!

The dispatch area was brim full of cars, mainly Traditionals, most destined for the continent and further afield...one to Manilla I think Graham said.A couple of Aeros at the back and several Three Wheelers. The one I took a photo of in a fetching pale blue shade, with the neat revised tonneau was destined for Japan. The car alongside it, in a lovely dark metallic blue and silver with hardtop is a competition car, not brand new by the look of it but rather tasty!

Another PlusE is being built, interesting stuff under the bonnet and twin fans in the boot area, that louvred rear cover will be very useful!

There's something very mean about the hard top. Love it!
Great shots.

I popped in to the factory today to get a couple of bits, I was amazed at (a) the number of MTWs in build and (b) the number of SuperDrys - I counted 5 in the inspection bays alone.

It is a Roadster Lightweight.

Currently up for sale by MMC. I cannot recall the total number built but iirc it was circa 25 - 30.

Here is a link to the details on the Morgan Roadster Lightweight .

Unless you intend to race they are a bit too spartan, lacking a heater and interior trim, would make a good fast road car for hair shirt wearer

I see "Dangerous Dave" Simpson has sold his Roadster Lightweight. Doesn't appear to have gone to a motorsport competitor, sadly!.

Cheers,
