Description
I did not like the original dashboard and steering wheel of my car - somehow it spoilt the ride.
A significant birthday prompted my best friend to buy me a Mota Lita Steering Wheel of my choice. That done I found a second hand walnut dash and set off to Kevin Vernon at Tudor Motors for a great day out.
Kevin fitted everything and made it look easy, but then he has done one or two.
The brackets securing the Rev counter and Speedo were too short for the new dash as the cut-outs were recessed.
Kevin quickly welded extentions on to the brackets and the crisis was over.
Kevin then put the car on the ramp and checked the steering geo with laser equipment, took a few minutes to confirm all was well.
A great day out and I am delighted with the result!
All the best
Tony

Classic. Very nice dash - a significant improvement on the original. As an extra touch you could get the triangular hazard warning and switch area (under the central dials) covered in matching leather trim. MK will do this for you (they can’t use wood because it’s very difficult to get a match with the rest of the dash).

+1 I do like the 4 dials in the middle of the dash.

I made a similar switch on my last car - from leather to Wooden and the transformation was amazing and really added to the pleasure of driving!!

Well done --it looks superb - IMHO a much better layout than is on my new Plus4!

Looks great. Wish they'd stayed with that lay-out.
