Bloo' and I went out for a wee run in the sun last week and while trundling through Crawfordsburn Country Park, Co Down, and it's many wonderful ramps, I encountered a lovely red 3 wheeler. I stopped to have a look and found James Mather (Chair of the MZ Riders Club) who had decided to venture into the sun on one of our nicer beaches. He was accompanied by a CX 500 engined 3 wheeler of his own design and build.
James was a very affable and interesting individual who was over visiting a gathering of the MZ club and destined for Enniskillen. We had a great wee chat and he was telling me about the 3W and a bit of it's/ his history.
I know his weather will have been good and I hope he had a great stay and will return. Our wee province here really shines when enthusiasts gather for whatever their calling. It was great to meet an enthusiast and I left him to the sun and sea of our small but wonderfully formed county.
If you read this James - it was a pleasure and hope to meet up again.

Great picture. I love the way the sun is reflecting onto your Morgan. Seeing the sunshine reflected from the long bonnet in a Morgan is one of the best views in the motoring world.

Yet another surprise only yards from the doorstep, I wonder if he would build me one.

I'm sure he could get you one built.
He's given me contact details in the event anyone might have any queries. I'll lend you the engine out of my 1580 Street Bob! .. or if you promise not to tell anyone .. I also have a 993 (late model) engine here. That should give it a tasty clip!

Thought it looked a bit B.R.A. ish.
I have an assembly manual for one somewhere...

Cheers,
