Description
Just got back from a motorbike trip to Germany via France, Belgium and Holland. The roads to the east of Dortmund/Dusseldorf down to Koblenz, the Mosel and in particular the Ardennes made me wish for my Morgan!

Forgiven.....I was a Triumph man as well as a BMW man until last year when I got the Morgan. That 1050 Triple is one of the best! Most seem to accuse the GS of being the 2 wheeled equivalent to the Range Rover....all pose and never taken off road! Mine is on the grass note...NOT on the road rofl I do take it down forest tracks sometimes for a treat.

Giles......pretty decent weather apart from huge thunder storms when camping outside Koblenz...the tent shrugged it all off! But as usual for me, the trip back to Calais was in torrential rain. frown

I was away over last weekend with a couple of pals we went to Prum Germany its good riding there.

The area is known as the Eifel...lots of windy roads but it rained bl--dy hard on Sunday the day we were supposed to go to the Nürburgring ring.

We didn't go... we sat in a bar drinking German beer all day and later watched England v Italy ( Incredibly painful ) its a tough job but someone has to do it.

Saw a group of German Mogs and a couple of the drivers were even sporting the full "wing commander brick dust" mustaches apparently they really love Mogs in a big way!!!
