I know it was all for a very worthy cause but your Morgan does look good now the decals have been binned. First pic- frontal- is probably my favourite view of the Roadster, the purists on TM waffle about the narrow frame 4/4 being better looking but only because they have an inferiority complex smirk2 (I'm also a fan of the Porsche 930 with it's flared arches)

Frank, those were 4 well spent hours; you've definately restored her to goddess status.

Hi Frank,

How did you get the grime off the wire wheels following your trip?

My Son bought me the Morgan Wire Wheel Cleaning Kit for Christmas thumbs
.
It's a 'Wheels Off' job and a bit messy but mine were caked 5mm thick with dry crusty muck between the spokes so the solvent part disolved that stuff nicley.

I was not so impressed by the 'Rinse' product as it did not give the wheels the usual sparkle. That's may be because I was starting from a very low base.

I have since used my car polish to clean the rims again to help remove the fine scratches caused by the many abrasive Mud Washes they got along the way. idea

An incredible mirror paint finish. I have to say that the paint on my new car comes nowhere near that level of finish. envy
Looking at mine closely you see a very slight orange peel effect all over.

It is true, however, that the gloss shows up better on darker colours.
