You need a business case, to ensure that you can use the car between 13th July and 18th August, so that you get the most out of your and Mrs WR's investment.
That's a month of insurance for no reason, a month of car tax and think of all the sunny days she will miss on roof down trips. You know it makes sense.

Could the period between the 13th July and 18th August not be used for Pre-Birthday testing - imagine finiding a fault on your Birthday - best be safe I say and give it a proper shake down first

Looking at the size of the garage I would suggest that you need plenty of practice trying to reverse and drive into the garage to see which works best....just explain that the 'turning circle of a Morgan is VERY large and takes around 10 miles to perform the manouver effectively.

Speaking as a doctor, I would be happy to write you a prescription from the "TM well man clinic" advising regular doses of Morgan, taken prophylactically before your birthday. It is not wise to wait until 50 for essential treatment aimed at keeping you alive and in good health.
