Description
Some detail photos of the Borghi door checks.

When open the door goes out to 90 degrees and holds well. When closed the door check are well out of the way. They do touch the leather of the door pockets but as they are smooth do not scratch. If I start to see any sign of wear I will space them out a fraction.

Sorry, but I have to say that these Door Checks do not look as neat in appearance as the UK version where the pimples (Two) are hidden on the inside. Buy your Pimple is nice and deep which is probably better than the UK ones for keeping the door open.

For Me, both versions also lack any 'Half Way' Pimples for those many occasions where I can't open the door fully (in my Garage for one) idea .

Interesting points. I don't know why they don't put the "pimple" out of sight. I will ask next time I go there. Actually before asking I will look to see if they have one on the inside too. I have not noticed but perhaps they are double "pimpled" or "dimpled" smile

The half way "pimple" is a good idea but you would have to put two a few millimetres apart. One to hold against opening and one to hold against closing. It would be an easy mod to an existing door check.

The "Dimples" on mine are on the opposite side -- i.e. out of sight!
