A friend of mine bought himself a new BMW R100GS motorcycle a few years ago but could not bring himself to get rid of his old one (an R100RT). However, he never had both bikes at home at the same time, and despite the two bikes being totally different his missus never noticed that he'd bought a new one.

My wife has radar eyes she knows if I have not washed behind my ears or changed my socks . Not a hope in hell of fooling her . Yet tonight I was watching a young couple in hospital messing about and my wife claims I am more romantic now than I was when we met. I think she is getting it mixed up with groveling .
