Lovely in yellow!
I owned a black one from new back in the day when I was an Alfa dealer (for my sins) about the same time as yours was new: had it properly converted from LHD to RHD by the importer. Sincere advice ... don't! It never drove the same: steering was vague, and pedal positions horrid. Sold it on as soon as I could.
Keep it original.

Keep it original. Funny you say that, i was actually searching for a RHD when i was seriously advised not to buy but look for LHD, i wise choice it seems.
