I'm thinking of a short break, probably 5 nights, could anyone recommend some must-see places, things to do and most important of all best places to eat(sushi and lobsters) ?

Hi,
When are you thinking of coming? Look me up, I work in Manhattan (and bring pictures of your car). If you're interested and weather permitting I'll fly you around the city. Lobsters are great on Long Island.

Wow, what a kind offer Michel. I am sure Kin will be chuffed.

Now if you can pop over to Farnham in a couple of weeks time, I will dig out a few old dog-eared photos of my old Magenta, and would therefore really appreciate you flying me up to Edinburgh for a long weekend ;\)

WOW! Michel, thats a very very generous offer I am well chuffed, but I don't want to waste your precious time and expense. A meet up over lunch or dinner would be more than suffice....

Have not decided on the dates yet, but planning to come on around end of March...I'll let you know.

How many flights have you been offered on the http://forum.Atomclub.com then???

I am aware however that you have received a plethora of responses from your post on http://forum.leather-wearing-moustachio'd-hunks.com and that you have been offered, and indeed have accepted I believe, numerous 'other' rides

;\)

I do appreciate

True True, a thousand responses from Atomclub would not beat an offer of flight from Michel

Kin, maybe not many people have been to NYC? ;\)

Other than the obvious places to visit (Liberty Island, Ellis Island, Times Square), I would recommend a carriage ride through Central Park, have a Sandwich/Cheesecake at the Carnegie Deli and try to make it to Yankee Stadium, 5th Avenue and FAO Schwarz

...as a start, there is so much to see - including any of the wonderful galleries and museams \:\)

Chuffed? What is chuffed?
I'll be around end of March, leaving on April 5th for 3 weeks.
Have drink on top of Rockefeller Center on a nice day before heading for a B'way show and then have dinner at Balthazar's. Finish the evening with a night cap at Temple Bar (walking distance). Works every time for me...

The feeling when all is tickety-boo, and a chap is oojah-cum-spiff.

Hope that helps!
