Okay people, time to have your say!

As many of you may already know, SteveD, a Talk Morgan member, has embarked upon a new online automotive magazine (sorry Steve, I know it is so much more) along with Chris Harris (ex-AutoCar), Richard Meaden (ex-EVO) and Jethro Bovingdon (ex-EVO).

Rather than just review cars, Drivers-Republic as it is called, is trying to engage the reader and 'make them part of the article'. How do you accomplish this you ask?

Well it seems Steve has many tricks up his sleeve but in the most raw form, the site would like to allow readers to voice questions before the features are written. These questions will then attempt to be answered within the article.

What does this have to do with us? Well, I've been banging the Morgan drum in Steve's ear for many many years and he has finally decided I'm not going to go away until he visits Malvern Link to see what all the fuss is about. Therefore, Drivers-Republic will be visiting the factory, interviewing Charles Morgan, learning about all the investment Morgan has put into their product (including the LIFECar) and driving away in an Aeromax to get a feel for the limited edition Morgan.

So how do you voice your opinion and get the DR team to ask the questions you want answered? They have created a link which you can use to post the questions which either you would like the answered, or that you believe would be of interest to others (hopefully both! ;\) ); here is that link: -

Well done Simon.

I have the first question if I give them my address do you think they will come round and let me have a go? PLEASE

I have a better idea. Why dont we have an improvised TM meeting and get them along so we can all have a go, and give them our questions them.

Some excellent questions on the DR site chaps!

Keep up the great work - this could be a very interesting, and insightful, look at MMC and their excellent products.

John, you'd have to talk to SteveD about that and I imagine even with seasoned veterans such as Richard, Chris and Jethro there might be a fight for the keys of the Aeromax

I think they should invite us Trad drivers to test the Tin Top. Preferably on an expenses paid drive to the South of France but I would set for a quick spin around the Malvern Hills. I would certainly be engaged then!

Thanks for all your comments thus far chaps, I will point Charles in the direction of your questions so that he has time to prep.

My agenda from the meeting is to try and capture Morgan's plans, there's some really interesting developments in play and I would like a wider (i.e. non Morgan owning) audience to hear about them. I suspect a lot of people will be surprised.

I'd love to have the car longer and let everyone see it, but we're all a bit stretched for time at the moment. We meet at Malvern on Wednesday (Chris, myself and a videographer), then Chris is off at an Audi launch on Thursday, either Richard or Jethro are at the Maserati Gran Turismo launch on Thursday/Friday and then we give the Aeromax back to Morgan on Friday. I'm not sure in who's possession it will be on Thursday, but I'm arranging for Chris to meet up with Simon on Friday morning. Perhaps a few more from TalkMorgan can join if we've got time.

It's a hectic schedule next week, so apologies if it doesn't work out as sweetly as I'd like.

Someone spotted an Aeromax heading north on the M1 J25 this morning, it wouldn't have anything to do with D.R. would it?
