That's quite an interesting shade Craig. Shame no longer available as standard colour option.

My query though was the with the origins of the current "Sport" prefix MMC colour range. They must have had original names and likely were associated with particular marques, this is the info I was seeking.

A rather better photo of Tarka, showing the Rolls Royce Metallic Bronze paint in sunlight:

Then the interior,

Muirhead Saddle Brown, piped and stitched with Magnolia, Brown carpets trimmed magnolia and brown mohair hood and tonneau.

I’d suggest black, it’s boring but the xflow always seems to leak a wee bit, save the colour of the rocker cover etc.

Ford engine blocks of that period had a thin coating of black paint. First bit of salt and they rusted if you tried to keep the oil off innocent

I'm wondering when did 2 tone paint jobs get introduced to the Morgan lineup? I'm looking to purchase '65, and like the 2 tone look. Would it be sacrilege to do this?
