Jubilee Blue. I'm not quite sure how the Morgan colour choices work, but my understanding is that this was one of three or four "factory special" (rather than customer-specified) colour options for the 75th anniversary year in 1984-5. The car is an '85 4/4 four-seater. This photo was taken in September 2008, and shows the car arriving at its new home, having been driven out of the back of a container after clearing Canadian customs, still on its English plates.

Seems that to avoid Trade Mark issues Morgan or their paint supplier modified Xirallic, owned by E Merck, Germany to Zurallic....Seems that this is a very expensive finish and quite clever in the way it reflects colour.

The yellow Moggie in Dave W's photo reminded me of my first Morgan, a beautiful +4 in Lambo Metalic yellow ( which had hints of green in the sun ) with blue leather interior. I also bought this from the brilliant BHM people and I think it now resides in Scotland.

Saw that on Monday when I called into the factory parked alongside some finished cars bound for Germany...now I am colour blind and obviously each to his own but I could not live with that combination !!!!

As a Manchester City supporter I can honestly say that it is one of the nicest and most striking colour combinations I have seen!
Bias aside, the owner is a brave chap/ette but it works very well. I would have been tempted to have a navy hood and navy piping on the leather to break up the light blue but as KEVFITZ says, everyone to their own, the interior of mine is pretty unusual too and not to everyone's tastes. I'm sure the new owner of the blue car loves it.

Apologies if this is published elsewhere but wondering when MMC put the Sport prefix to all the no cost option standard colours.
I remember having trouble sourcing Sport Green paint for my M3W which I now believe is known elsewhere as Brooklands Green. Similarly their Sport Red is I understand Corsa Red with Ferrari origins. Is there a definitive list of these standard colours with matching BS381 or RAL numbers?

I suspect that Sport Green is not the same shade as Brooklands Green, for two reasons:
1. Sport Green three wheelers look different to Brooklands models 2. Brooklands Green is an absolute doddle to get hold of as it's a stock Jaguar paint, code 753.

I recently had to get some touch up paint for my Brooklands Green M3W. It is a different code to Sport Green - MMC gave me HFB or 753.

That's quite an interesting shade Craig. Shame no longer available as standard colour option.
My query though was the with the origins of the current "Sport" prefix MMC colour range. They must have had original names and likely were associated with particular marques, this is the info I was seeking.

I'm wondering when did 2 tone paint jobs get introduced to the Morgan lineup? I'm looking to purchase '65, and like the 2 tone look. Would it be sacrilege to do this?

Certainly not. 2 tones have been around for a long time. It's going to be your car, after all!
Just noticed the number plate - WMD...........weapon of mass destruction? Hopefully not!
We have a little club that we call the WMD Club - four couples, all in our late 40's or early 50's (apart from my Mrs who's in her 30's) - some of us have been mates for 30+ years. We meet up every so often for meals and a yearly 'campfest' where we pitch tents in someones garden, get very very drunk and then most of them go to sleep in the house.
The first time we went out for dinner, we got very drunk and decided that although we were all doing ok financially, we were all worth considerably more dead - hence WMD - Worth More Dead.

Beautiful colour. Just noticed the number plate - WMD...........weapon of mass destruction? Hopefully not!
Neil got a collection of WMD plated long before the dysfunctional lying Labour PM appeared as he had quite fleet of V engined cars at the time as I recall him relating the story on here a few years ago including a Lambo.
He's just moved house so not on here much at present but he is a regular contributor on here.

Your attention to detail never fails to impress, Craig, the car is as always, perfection, but now even your wheelbarrow and trainers match you front door and all in a complimentary shade to match the car.

1997 +4 Rolls Royce Green with Maroon trim and upholstery - the car looks almost Black in some light variations, but definitely Green. The hard-top and the bowls of the Cibie spotlights are all the same colour.

Thanks Craig, yours is a credit to you and your ongoing input.
It does my heat good to see a muddy, well used Morgan!
I agree that picture of yours and Vipers Plus 8 looking mucky I find very encouraging as I'm not a personal lover of the garage queens, I like to see them being used.
I admire Craig's dedication to duty though the results are amazing.

I'm trying to find paint to match the original colour of my 1995 4/4. The Morgan factory checked their records and say "I have searched our records which show that chassis number D9506 was originally painted ‘Moskovitch Blue’ code AM30. In 1995 we were using paints from the ICI P420 range."
But I have been at a loss to find any paint that matches these various names/codes.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? It needs to be in the UK!
