The better-looking half of twotribes (my son, Seb) is fifteen snip
Much as I want Seb to use his 4/4 I suspect he will keep it for just a few years until he passes his motorcycle test and trades it for the M3W he really wants Sorry for spotting this belatedly, but as the driving licence derogation has been implemented, although he'll still have to wait until he is 21, a car test pass will cover the use of the three wheeler in the UK. At the moment though, he'd need a full bike licence to drive a three wheeler abroad. A number of us are making sure the driving licence situation does not get forgotten and perhaps the next directive will put the issue right. A lot of EC member countries have now implemented the derogation - and it was only put there for Sweden.

I think I will still encourage him to take his motorcycle test for the increased road awareness this will school in him.
