Just read about Hamish Moffat crossing Africa to Caperown in a Lagonda in December 1952. A story in Classic& Sportscar January 2015 mag( date is correct!) There seemed to be more " adventurers" in those times.still, going off the beaten track is still huge adventure even in modern times... Have I told you about my run in the Plus8....... Red Plus8
