I am just preparing a newsletter for the Thames Valley Centre Morgans, listing places to visit on New Year's day, and I thought I would share these with you, so thought I woulspost these below.

I know of five which have been attended by TM members.

1. Stoney Stafford (A5 N of Milton Keynes) - John +4 has been there in the past.

2. The Frogmill, Andoversford - Graham has been there.

3. Elsted Inn, Elsted (S of the the A272) south of the South Downs - Ian W has been there.

4. The Phoenix, W of Hartley Wintney (A30)- I have benn there many times. Starts from 8 am and last until the final person goes home. All mannner of cars from pre WW2 through to Hot Rods.

5. Brooklands - I can't recall who has been there at New Year. Unlike the others, you do have to pay enterance.

We meet just up the road from the Frogmill now Steve, at the local Cricket Club, which is also the Cotswold Classic Car Club clubhouse...
Allegedly from 10:00 but people are there much earlier.

I've been to Vintage Stony a couple of times, too. A great range of vehicles, including bikes. No entry required, just a contribution to the sponsored charity. Gerry.

Shelsley Walsh is usually worth a visit if you can walk a 1,000 yards to the top and down again.

If old cars is your forte, the VSCC meeting at Much Marcle is an enjoyable morning out. From past experience, parking is not so easy and I don't think they will let a new M3W park with oldies! Richard

Thanks for the list Steve, barring severely bad weather I shall be at Elsted again.

I've always thought of going to Hartley Wintney but it is just slightly too far to get there and back before lunch, and Mrs. W's Morroccan lamb tagine is an annual fixture not to be missed.
