While I don't believe we'll see an M-engine in the Aeromax 2
As the top of the range Morgan has had as one of its core values easy low-down torque combined with light weight, since the introduction of the Plus 8 in 1968, like you I don't see there being a sea-change in the type of engines used and thus, the next engine used in the top Aero models after the 4.8L must be the 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine from the BMW X6 imho.
