Hi, just joined and since I've just renewed the king pins and bushes on the 4/4 I've just bought I thought I'd say it'll make life a lot easier when you do this job if you cable tie the main springs before you take the weight off them otherwise you've got to compress them to put them back.
To do the job I followed the advice in this link - http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan8.html and got on OK, just should have cable tied the spring as advised in another link as above but allmorgan10.html.
Regards

Simon

Hi Guten

I have an Aero but have been thinking of trying to get my hands on a Trad Mog for my wife but I will have to look for a used bargain if there is such a thing.
Good to know some of us are capable of doing more than just driving our cars. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Welcome

Michael

Hi, yes it's great and my last car was a 5 series BMW! Just wanted a nimble sports car now we've got rid of-----um I mean the kids have gone to uni etc. Tried lots of others but the Morgan came out best. Found it on www.carandclassic.co.uk and there were quite a few at the time. Tried e-bay but they are mostly dealer cars.
