Morgan AR P4
A few images taken of the new AR P4 at a very wet Silverstone.
The car has a number of new features including a Cosworth engine. In fact it was interesting exercise to walk round the paddock to try and spot a decent car that doesn't have a Cosworth engine.
For anyone interested in photography the images were taken in very dark conditions using a film speed of ISO 20,000 on a digital camera. Is that an oxymoron.
For anyone heading to Silverstone, lets hope the weather gets better!
Richard

You do wonder how everything would be referenced on a digital camera had people not moved terminology from film ones...
Great pics and I am still not sure about the styling (to my eye)...some subtle changes (headlights for example) might change my view ... but.

Interesting to see Charlie Boy there! Thanks for those photos Richard....they are all on an even keel as well Thank god for extended ISO ranges these days! I'm looking forward to seeing the car when it's back at the factory. The engine installation looks very clean and tidy and I'm assuming dry sump looking at your under car shots. I still can't get my head around some design aspects...the lights in particular and the hard edge of the gearbox cover but otherwise a fascinating car. I couldn't see from your photos if it is externally badged "Cosworth".....it should be!

Richard, thank you for braving the elements to take these marvellous photo's. Having had a chance to consider the new designs, I am delighted with the modifications and upgrades and look forward to seeing how it goes. It will be interesting to see how many of these changes find their way into the 'regular' trads. An anniversary 4/4 model next year?

I can only make a superficial comment. but appearance being important I would like to see black wheels with a silver rim - like the old Fuchs on the 911s. or the mag wheels seen on the Bullit mustang, cobras and the GT40. love this car though and the cosworth name fits well with the morgan tradition and British Motorsport .
