I just spoke to the factory and the AeroSS is being packed to go to Silverstone this weekend. Is anyone going over to see it on any particular day ?

I and some others will be there for the w/end so looking forward to seeing the SS in the metal and its GT3 brothers (sisters?) performing on the track

Yup, the posse will be there Leaving Eton in convoy early on Saturday, ready for bacon sarnies at Silverstone bright and early.

I will aim to be there on Saturday, I am still without an Aero due to the demands of travel on my job at present. It is putting a serious crimp on being able to buy something which is frustrating as I am watching the cars for sale dwindle as we enter summer.

I won't be there early due to getting home very late the night before but will aim to catch up with you all. I can forward my mobile through PM if you organise a location etc. and anyone would be good enough to update me.

If anyone is aware of any Aero8 S1-3 up for sale in the South I am still looking ! Looks like a trip to Wales next week and one in SGT to look at so far.

I was told it SS was going to be on a stand near to the Drivers Club. There was no mention of it being out for a spin but I did not ask specifically, it would seem a waste not to give it a parade lap.

Will it be on TV this year?

I looked earlier in the week but couldn't find it listed.

MotorsTV will be repeating it next Saturday/Sunday at 5PM UK time as highlights and then on a regular slot until they find new material to repeat to death.

Hi Roger, shame you wont be there. I will try and post any results. Last I saw in free practose 2 the Morgans were 5th and 6th fastest. Although I'm sure that doesnt mean much (they were way down in the 1st free practise) it does show two competitive cars this year

The Aero SS will be on static display at the BRDC club. I think Roger (another) meant the new race cars, which are based on the Aero SS

Saw the Aero SS outside today, for the first time, and it looked absolutely stunning! The design, the paint (it was very sunny so the blue highlights really worked), the wheels, the interior with the different seats, I am sure that Morgan will have another great hit on their hands.

Roll on Silverstone and with 5th and 6th in free practice, we hope we're in for a good race and maybe a result?

I watched first race live and the second on the Interwobble via streaming from MotorsTV web site. I will also be watching the future away matches through this as well as it worked brilliantly over my DSL/Broadband.

Anyone interested in getting a small present to give to the man with the passion and deep pockets to bring this to reality. Nothing big but just something in good taste as a momento of our best wishes? He may have the first AeroMax and all the other fine toys I would like in life but the thought should be worth something.
