Cereal reminded me on a recent post that the S1 Aero has fully rose jointed and therefore adjustable suspension. Given a bit of racing knowledge this then sparks a couple of question to the pool of wisdom...

1. Is it necessary to check the geometry as a regular check?
2. Anyone tried 'tweeking' the settings?

I seem to recall a couple of years ago someone telling me that the Aero 8 S1 British GT Cup racers of Keith Ahlers and Richard Thornes had been tweeked for instance.

I have an opportunity given my location to maybe try something out in the future if not....

I suppose it depends on what you want to achieve... I have a motorsport suspension book here but you'd need to describe what you are trying to achieve.. eg.
Dial out understeer, Tighter Rear End, more imediate turn in etc.

My rear end is tight enough thank you... as for the car......
thumbs

Back to topic.... somestick

First step will be to do some set up measurements and compare these with the handling found.... I'll leave all this to experts including an ex Jim Russell race instructor.... might take a few months to get it all organised though.... waiting
