So I am finally in the position of being able to blow the budget with a big smile.

Sidepipes - yes
Colour - yes
Condition - yes
Drive - yes
Anything else does not matter - no

Can anyone advise on someone that will inspect the car for me and ensure I am aware of any "unique hand made tweaks" that might need performing ?

It is near to Stratford for location if this is helpful. Also any guidance on what I should be paying for this would be good.

I would use my trusted man from the AA but whilst I love him fixing the VW I doubt he would know where to begin on the aluminium ballistic sidepipe thingy.

All good comments welcome.

I'm sure there is someone who will oblige.. it might help to let us know what model etc you have found.

Color, chassis No. would help to track it down and look into it's history. BTW.. who has done the spanner work on it? any ideas/service stamps etc.

Silver S2 RX55KVK, Ex Richard Thorne demo car, 1 owner following from Newbury area. Appears to be ramped and stamped from SGT and Morgan according to paperwork.

Chassis number I do not have but can get if it is of assistance.

I'm sure Millers Motors of High Wycombe can do this.

This is Cereals Dads business. With the knowledge and experience shown ok here, and my personal recent experience of the garage, I would have no hesitation in recommending smile

Cereal why don't you post the number and details?

Alistair I can't believe that you have been able to get to view this car, I've been trying to arrange an appointment since late last week, and all I've got from the dealer in question is that he can't make any of the times that have been available to me, I live in Chelmsford and would need to get to Stratford-upon-Avon so it's not just popping round the corner to see it.

Best of luck, Gyp

I'd reccommend Millers for this too from personal experience and just from the huge amount of knowledge they have imparted on this site / at meets about Aeros smile

Gyp,

Sorry if I stole it from under your nose. The dealer was a decent enough chaps but also has other interests outside of cars and so I guess it is difficult. I went up over the bank holiday weekend.

Mr Tony has just put his machine on the market. I saw it at the Silverstone event and it is in excellent condition so it would be worth giving him a nudge. He is a total fanatic so I can only imagine it gets licked clean before bed each night.....

Alistair,

That's the second Aero to be stolen from under my nose. never mind and Good luck with your Aero, thanks for the heads up on Mr Tonys car. I've had contact with him in the last couple of weeks but my Max budget is 40k he need's more than that.

Millers it is, booked and organised today, sounds like they have an entire collection of Morgans between the family there...

One step closer to the thud of a sidepipe.

A wonderful response to the work we have put into your respective cars.
